Celebration of Human Rights Day

Today Human Rights Day was celebrated at Synetic Business School .Asst Prof Ajay Pal Singh addressed the students and Said that “Human rights are the rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethic, color, religion, language or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible
“The idea of Human rights suggests that ‘if the public discourse of peacetime global society can be said to have a common moral language, it is that of human rights”.
Many of the basic idea that animated the human rights movement developed in the aftermath of the Second World War atrocities of the holocaust, culminating in the adaptation of the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Paris by the United Nation General Assembly in 1948.He also pointed out the Human rights Violations in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Libya and stressed on the greater role of United Nations in protecting Human rights.
