Course Objectives
The main aim of this course is:
- To provide an understanding of the functions and role of corporate financial management, covering the sourcing of finances and their issues in investment and operations.
- To provide analytical knowledge of risk and return in portfolio.
- To understand leverages, ROI and ROE concepts, simplifying the capital structure theories and dividend policies with illustrations.
- To get interactive knowledge of Inventory management and receivable management, Estimation and forecasting of working capital requirements of company, functional knowledge of financing short term assets with illustrations and Case studies.
Course Outcomes
After completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate the applicability of the concept of Financial Management to understand the managerial Decisions and Corporate Capital Structure
- Demonstrate how the concepts of financial management and investment, financing and dividend policy decisions could integrate while identification and resolution of problems
- Analyze the complexities associated with management of cost of funds in the capital Structure.
