The Munjal family-sponsored BCM Foundation and Birmingham City University have established the Munjal Birmingham University Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MBCIE) at Ludhiana to promote innovative education, industrial innovation and Startups in the region. MBCIE provides an opportunity to change the stereotypical ways of teaching and learning by more engaging, participatory, and socially relevant approaches. As part of this project, it has also established a well-equipped Incubation Centre to enable young entrepreneurs to launch their Startups with the expertise and backing of BCM Foundation and Birmingham City University. BCU has a very rich experience in this area in the UK.
MBCIE is offering a 3-Months Startups Programme to enable aspiring entrepreneurs to identify a startup opportunity, prepare a business plan and present it to the Angel Investors for financial support. A Master Class is scheduled on 28th and 29th January 2022 at 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM as a curtain-raiser (in virtual mode) to the Short Term Program and Incubation Centre.
They have lined up prominent startups for this Master Class. The Speakers include Mr Sunil Kant Munjal, a doyen of Startups in India, Mr Bhavish Aggarwal from Ola, Mr Ritesh Aggarwal from OYO, Mr Vineet Rai from Avishkar Group, Ms Ishita Aggarwal, Program Director, Atal Innovation Mission, Government of India, Mr Subrat Pani, Co-Founder. OneAsset Customer Solutions and a Startup entrepreneur from the UK/EU, experts from Birmingham City University, UK.
