SBS ORGANIZED BLOOD DONATION CAMP
01 Jan 2021 BLOOD DONATION CAMP :
The year 2020 belonged to making life happen as the COVID-19 pandemic challenged life and society across the world. Therefore, Zayn Trust that manages – Synetic Business School – thought it prudent to welcome 2021 with a zest for life by associating with the Blood Link Foundation to organize a blood donation camp, on 1st January 2021 at its campus Ramgarh, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana. The best part of the camp was that it was a full-fledged student-initiated and managed camp.
The camp served two major objectives – a) to create awareness about the benefit of voluntary blood donation amongst the student and community members and b) to collect blood from those who have come forward to offer their blood at the camp. The response from the college students, factories around the campus, and the local community were overwhelming despite the fact it was a cold and foggy winter day on the 1st of Jan 2021. Special appreciation to SBS coordinators Ms. Mishu Sood and Ajaypal Singh and the trustees of Blood Link Foundation Deepak Sharma, Vikas Mishra & Anmol Sharma who are BBA 3rd Sem students who made this camp successful by collecting 29 units of blood and creating awareness. We look forward to holding more such camps at the campus.
