    NOTICE

    TEA/REFRESHMENT/LUNCH BREAK

    The general rule on breaks under Indian Shop Act is that you are entitled to a break of 30 minutes after a 6 hours work period. There is no entitlement to be paid during these breaks and they are not considered part of working time.

    The Institute already provides for Lunch break after 3.5 hours of work from 1300 HRS to 1330 HRS. Therefore every employee must be in the office sharp at 9.15 am.

    We all are responsible for lots of non academic work, which can be taken at this time. However staff members can take a cup of tea/coffee in between the academic periods. The morning breakfast break seen extended to 9:50 am is strictly prohibited from now on wards.

    This notice is second to our previous notice informing that 75% attendance is compulsory for the students registered under Post Metric Scholarship.
    It is come to our notice that a no. of these students
    is not marking their attendance on bio metric system. Once again we make it clear that if their Post Metric Scholarship is withheld due to shortage of their attendance and they will be responsible themselves and have to pay full fee to the institute. The students must take this issue seriously. The college will not be responsible under any circumstances.

    This is further to previous notice maintain that to avail Post Metric Scholarship, a student must have minimum 60% marks in previous examination also he/she must clear all the subjects of previous semester examination.     SBS CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE 2016 BY ORGANIZING CANDLE MARCH
    Wars have somehow always led to pathways of peace in the world. When World War I ended and the Paris Peace Conference was held, it yielded the League of Nations, which would then pave the way for the founding of the United Nations at the end of World War II.

    Therefore, it was only natural that the United Nations celebrate the very cause it was founded to champion: Peace. This is believed to be the seed of the idea that would go on to become the worldwide observance that the International Day of Peace — sometimes also called World Peace Day, but only unofficially — is today. It is celebrated on 21 September every year.

    Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship 2016-17

    POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP

    Students of BBA, BCA and B.Com 3rd. Semesters who are enrolled under Post Matric Scholarship need to renew their registration with the welfare department and PTU. Despite our previous two notices these students have not submitted their following mentioned certificates till todate. The last date of registration is September 20. Therefore the documents must be submitted by September 15. If someone fails to deposit the documents his/her registration will stand cancelled and the student will have to deposit full fee from the current semester onwards.
    1. Adhaar Cards of their parents
    2. 10th and 12th certificates
    3. Income certificates for the financial year 2016-17
