The Lawns of SBS resonated with chant’s of more than 2000 students together to celebrate the largest show of the year, “Inter School Sports and Cultural Event”, As many 37 schools participated in in events cricket, volleyball, basket ball, salad making, collage making, rangoli, heena, bhangra, giddha, solo dance, bollywood coreography and face painting. Karam Sembhi of Voice of Punjab fame sang to ertatain the audience. The event was also attended by the sarpanches of villages, Ramgarh, Sudawal and Kakkowal. Shifali International School won 16 trophies in different events and bagged the title.

Synetic Business School (Affiliated to PTU, Jalandhar) is abuzz with sports and cultural activities as more than 80 teams are participating in the tournament which started on November 2 and will go till November 14. The main attraction of the event is the cricket competition in which 28 teams took part. T-10 matches drew the maximum crowd. The final cricket match was played between Mukt Vidya Mandir and Govt Senior School, Jandiali, in which Jandiali team won the match. In volleyball, 14 teams competed for the trophy. The final match was played between DAV Public School and Sant Kabir Senior Secondary School, in which the latter won the match.

SBS has been organizing School Olympiad every year. There are 4 Sections, namely: Arithmetic, General English, Reasoning and General Knowledge. The students standing First, Second and Third position shall be given Trophies and all participants will get Certificate of Appreciation.
