Just a look at the table full of well decorated fruits was simply enough to make one salivate towards the cluster of conjugating fruits, simple to say—– Ready to gobble.
This was a Salad making competition where a vast number of students displayed a variety of different fruits sliced into different patterns and designs.
This stunning floor-design was setup in preparations of the School Cultural Festival that endured with in a week’s time. Students exhibited their different designs and talents that were showcased within the school’s main entrance.

Synetic Business school(Affiliated to PTU) recently conducted Career oriented seminar and General Knowledge Olympiad for 10+2 students in 23 schools in and around Ludhiana city. The Olympiad consisted of four sections i.e. General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mathematics and English Grammar This Olympiad is being conducted in the schools under the proper supervision of Synetic Business school’s officer and teachers.
The seminar guided the students on how to choose the career of their choice and different pros and cons associated with it. Professionals from the management school focused on the market demand of various trades and ways to master one in those particular trades through various training programs. It was as exhaustive career counselling session. This Olympiad helped students to understand the format of the various competitive exams that they are likely to appear in. The level of the questions was of 10+1 and 10+2 level. The format had been kept same as given in the entrance exams for MBA, MCA and Vacancies and other public and private sector enterprises.
The Chairman of the institute Dr. M.A. Zahir emphasized that most of the students in schools choose a career under pressure from their peers and parents without having any passion in that trade and are not counselled properly either by their teachers or by their parents. Therefore it is imperative that responsible citizens take the role of counselors and groom and guide the students who are future of their country.
The students of BBA were taken to some practical exposure in marketing. They put up a kiosk of their institute in a local school and promoted the courses offered. They interacted with the Indian school students who had a number of questions about their career. The program was coordinated by Assistant Professor Damanpreet Singh Sethi. Students enjoyed the marketing of services a practical way quite different from the classroom lectures.
LOHRI CELEBRATIONS AT SBS
The history of Lohri, a seasonal festival of North India, is as old as history of Indus Valley Civilization. It marks the beginning of end of winters and the coming of spring. The Lohri festival of North India coincides with Pongal in Tamil Nadu and Makar Sakranti in West Bengal, Magha Bihu in Assam, Tai Pongal in Kerela, all celebrated on the auspicious day of Makar Sakranti. Students of the institute organised Lohri function for their international class mates and shared Lohri sweets and wishes.
