Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar released the Merit Lists of all examinations conducted by it in May 2018. Synetic Business School Ludhiana created history by bagging a total of 6 positions in these Merit Lists. Besides this, one of its student bagged second position in PTU in discipline of commerce. Hema Kesari of 6th semester Commerce secured second position in 4th Sem., Balkaran Kaur of 6th semester Commerce got 4th position in 4th Sem., Lata Pandey of 6th semester Commerce got 6th Position in 4th Sem., Deepika of 6th semester commerce got 8th position in 4th Sem., Kumari Manju of 6thsemester commerce got 10th position and Aarti of 4th semester management got 10th position in 2nd Semester. They will all be given scholarships by the management of SBS Ludhiana as a prize for this enviable achievement.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Ghazala Qadri, Chairperson SBS, said that the credit for this excellent achievement goes to the teachers as well as the students. Dr. Zafar Zahir, Management Trustee, said that it is a matter of pride for this college to have such a large number of students in the Merit lists of PTU and added that the top priority of management is to give quality education to the students. For this, most talented teachers are appointed who give personal attention to each student and best possible infrastructure is provided to the students.

1st April 2019. Ludhiana. Today Final Year students of SBS visited Pavilion Mall, Ludhiana. In this recreational cum educational trip students experienced and observed all operations and management of an organized market in a single roof from entering to exit i.e. security checks, parking management, logistics management, buying, selling and distribution process, billing process which GST. Students also observed shopping Mall marketing strategies to sell products and services by window dressings and kiosks. Students also analyzed and observed the fix and variable cost born by the sellers at shopping mall. Dr. Zafar Zahir (M.D., SBS) told that this type of recreational trips gives students an exposure of practical life with fun and education.
26th March 2019. Ludhiana. Today Synetic Business School organized a guest lecture on Digital Media and Digital Solutions by Mr. Anubhav Gupta, RajanKapoor and JayantAhuja. They are experts in digital marketing working as consultant with many MSMEs in Punjab. They told that in this era of technology we can’t expect our business togrow without the help of digital marketing. Digital Marketing is fast becoming the lifeblood of all types of organisations whether they are in real or virtual world. Digital marketing through social media and ecommerce is an effective channel to reach and penetrate the masses. They also demonstrated how students can earn additional money through digital channels such as Instagram, facebook and blogging. Dr. Zafar Zahir, Managing Director of SBS, facilitated the guests and encouraged the students to keep abreast with the latest trends in digital media.
Ludhiana, 8thMarch 2019: ‘UMEED 2019’ Job Fair – an Annual Event was held today at the SBS Campus. Umeed Job Fair offers a platform for job seekers and industry looking for candidates to manage and grow their business. This year more than 300 manufacturing and service sector companies and 1000s of students from across colleges and institutes were invited for Umeed 2019. Of which, around thirty companies and close to 600 students grabbed the opportunity for entry level job placement. Notably companies ICICI Bank, NIIT Ltd., HDFC, Coca Cola, Rockman Industries, Connect Infotel, Kangroo Industries, Lifestyle Nutrition, Aarti International, Vacancy India, Kochar Infotech, etc. participated in the Job Fair
