SBS Students Participated in Fashion Show at CT University
CT University organized intercollege competition “CT Waves” where different students of various colleges different colleges and universities participated in various events such as Fashion Show, War of Bands, Business Plans etc.
Students of SBS College show their enthusiasm through Fashion Show on the theme of Bollywood Mashup from black and white era to the modern era.

Yesterday (24th Feb. 2018) DPS Dhuri organized Manthan 2019 -Meet, Discuss and Analyse where more than 100 principles from various schools participated in the event where they Discussed and analysed about the various ways to Enhancing School Effectiveness. On this occassion Dr. Ghazala Qadri, Chairperson, Synetic Business School was facilitated by DPS Dhuri and Wednesday Times Magazine.

UMEED JOB FAIR 2019
SBS has been organizing UMEED JOB FAIR intermittently for last many years. UMEED has become an annual feature since last year in which over 20 companies and more than 500 students participated from different colleges in and around Ludhiana for job placement. This year we are organizing the UMEED 2019 on Friday, 8th March 2019 at our campus. And it’s going to be bigger and better with number of reputed companies vying for the opportunity to recruit graduate and postgraduate students from different streams like Arts, Commerce (B.Com & M.Com), Management (BBA & MBA), Engineering & Technology (B.TECH & B.E), I.T. (BCA & MCA) and Engineering Diploma Holders from various colleges for their manufacturing and allied functions like Sales, Accounts/Finance, HR, Admin, back-office, etc.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO COOPERATIVE SUGAR MILL BUDHEWAL
Ludhiana, Feb. 11, 2019. Synetic Business School organized an industrial visit to Sugar Mill Budhewal, Ludhiana for its students and faculty. More than 200 students of Commerce, Management and Computer Science Department visited the industry along with faculty members. The production head of the plant, Chankour Singh guided the students and explained the manufacturing process. The students first visited the Cutting and roller Milling Unit. After that, the students visited the Boiling and Sugar Processing units. At last, the students visited at sugar warehouse where the store manager explained about inventory management.
The students learned about the production and operation management, inventory management, procurement of raw material and waste management. The students were thrilled to observe the implementation of the theoretical concepts that formed a part of their operations research, total quality management, and other functional subjects and got first-hand practical knowledge of a working business organization in the manufacturing sector. The company officials informed the students regarding the technical processes involved in the manufacturing of their products like cutting, grinding, mixing and packaging.
At the end of the industrial visit, the company officials were honored with a token of gratitude and respect by the college students and faculties.
Dr. ZafarZahir, M.D., Synetic Business School, quoted, “such sort of industrial excursions add up to the practical knowledge and exposure to the students since mere bookish knowledge doesn’t serve the entire purpose. Experiential learning helps the students in better understanding and appreciating the management and technical functions of the manufacturing industry.”

Guest Lecture on “Transforming Your Life and Our Punjab” at SBS
Ludhiana, 08th Feb 2019: Today Synetic Business School organized its second guest lecture of the semester on “Transforming Lives” by Mr. Jatinder Pal Singh, an Industrialist by profession and Motivational Speaker and Trainer by passion from Ludhiana. Jatinder Pal Singh is a phenomenal personality who lights up the atmosphere just by his presence. He has impacted more than 50,000 lives in Last 16 years. SBS has invited him to enlighten its’ students and faculty on various life skills and social causes. Through his counselling – people have given him many lovely names – Chote Mote Uncle, Magic Man, Mentor, Therapist, Powerhouse etc. A man who helps people into having dreams and then fulfilling them!
Mr. Pal interacted with all students of Commerce, Management and Computer Science Department. He told the students that indentify yourself and start loving yourself, when you will start loving yourself then after you can able to do something for society. He also said that start dreaming about your goals in life and share your dreams with others to get support from others to fulfil of your life goals. He told the students about the importance of environment and how to save that environment from harmful effect of pollution through green garbage collection and disposal techniques and recycling of non-biodegradable wastes. He asked the students to participate voluntarily on the project of garbage disposal and make the gold-from-green household waste. He also encouraged students to be part of “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan” to make the Ludhiana city clean and green. SBS has taken this initiative of making its Campus green and zero waste disposal organisation. Dr Zafar, the MD of SBS and Zayn Trust, said, “the skill the students and faculty will learn from this gold-from-waste initiative will be further implemented by the students in their homes and neighbourhood”.

PARWAAZ2019 – A Mega Event Organized by SBS
Today Synetic Business School Organized a Mega Event “PARWAAZ2019”. In this event more than 500 students from 20+ schools participated in various activities i.e. Rangoli, Dance, singing, Spell Bee, Scholarship Test, Mehndi Competition, Ad-Mad Show, Kite Flying etc. The chief Guests of the event were Jaspal Singh Sindhu, Professor, Civil Enginnering, PAU, Ludhiana, Mr. Gulab Mohammad, Industrial and Exporter, President of Indian National Congress, Minority Cell Punjab and Mr. Jatinder Singh Manchande, Leader and Motivational Speaker, Ludhiana. In this event the owner of the Desire Computer Institute was also present. The students of the Desire Institute give performance on various activities and attracted the attention of the audiences.
The first of its kind, the event PARWAAZ2019 – a culmination of music, art, theatre, and literature – shall put to test the intellectual, oratory, artistic and creative skills of the various students of different schools and institutes across the Ludhiana City. It is a platform for talent to compete among school fraternities while basking in the cultural heritage, spirits and the enigma.
PARWAAZ is a movement, a belief, a thought, which leads us away from the everyday nuances and mundane routines. In other words, it’s a celebration of everything that is not conformist. The PARWAAZ celebration under various themes is a ground where the spotlight will be on everybody from the craftsman, entertainer to the noiseless spectator of the diversion. A celebration of the event for all the ways one can communicate – Culture. Literature. Music. Theater.
At last Dr. Zafar Zahir (M.D. SBS) and Dr. Ghazala Qadri (Chairperson, SBS) with Geeta Aseeja (Vice-Principal, SBS) distributed the prizes to winners of various activities.
Dr. Zafar appreciated the team work and coordination of the faculty and the students of SBS. He specially gives thanks to Event Coordinators- Mr. Ajaypal Singh (Marketing Manager, SBS), Ms. Vandana (Assistant Professor, Commerce), Mr. Mohit (HOD, Computer Science, SBS), Ms. Baljeet Kaur (Marketing Executive, SBS), Mr. Narinder Singh (Security and Transport Incharge, SBS), Ms. Aman (Marketing Executive, SBS), Mr. Karnail Singh (Marketing Executive, SBS), and Mr. Davinder Singh (Marketing Executive, SBS). He also said that it’s only the beginning; the event will be bigger in upcoming months. He said the next PARWAAZ will be held in the month of November 2019. -

Republic Day Celebration
Today Synetic Business School celebrated the Republic Day. On this occasion the students gave speech and recited patriotic poems on republic day. All faculty and students were present in the event. The students and staff paid tribute towards country through National Anthem.
Today we are proud of our nation’s achievements and look ahead to a bright future for our country India which has flourished despite adversities to rise victorious.

Second Day of SBS NSS and Yoga Day
On the second day of the NSS and Yoga Camp at SBS the students actively participated. Mr. Mohit and Dr. Gaurav instructs the students during yoga. After the yoga session, a cleanliness drive make by the students at their classrooms and the college campus and play ground. After cleanliness the students did plantation by using the plastic bottles.
