Farewell to Assistant Professor Paramjit Singh
SBS family today bid adieu to Assistant Professor Paramjit Singh. Mr. Paramjit Singh joined SBS in July 2013 and spent two glorious years as a teacher, motivator and counselor. As an IT expert he added immense value not only to academics but also in designing and maintaining institute’s social media. He had many dimensions to his personalty. Besides being a good teacher he is a good singer and prepared college team which won prizes in many inter college functions.

Celebration of Human Rights Day
Today Human Rights Day was celebrated at Synetic Business School .Asst Prof Ajay Pal Singh addressed the students and Said that “Human rights are the rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethic, color, religion, language or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible
“The idea of Human rights suggests that ‘if the public discourse of peacetime global society can be said to have a common moral language, it is that of human rights”.
Many of the basic idea that animated the human rights movement developed in the aftermath of the Second World War atrocities of the holocaust, culminating in the adaptation of the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Paris by the United Nation General Assembly in 1948.He also pointed out the Human rights Violations in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Libya and stressed on the greater role of United Nations in protecting Human rights. -
AIDS AWARENESS CAMPAIGN AT SBS
The Faculty members of Synetic Business School today led a march to fight against HIV. They expressed concern over the increase in such incidents all over the World and shared information with students how to stop the spread of Virus. Assistant Professor Mr. Gurinder Singh shared that globally there are an estimated 34 million people who have the virus. Despite the virus only being identified in 1984, more than 35 million people have died of AIDS, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history. The main cause of spread is unprotected sex, sharing of needles by drug addicts and lack of awareness among high risk groups. He cautioned the students against indulging in any activity which puts their health under risk

Special Ceremony to Celebrate “Gurpurab”
Synetic Business School organized a special ceremony to celebrate “Gurpurab” with religious fervor and gaiety.On the occassion, Shabad Kirtan was sung by group of students and teachers to mark the anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. A short speech on the importance of Gurpurab was also delivered. Chairman Dr.M.A.Zahir also felicitated students Gurpreet Singh, Nikita, Suman , Sachpreet Kaur, Harmanjot Kaur, Aditya and Jaspreet Kaur who won top positions in the mid term examination.

Tribute to Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha
To pay tribute to the legendary heroism of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha on his 100th Martyrdom day, Synetic Business School organized a lecture on the life of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha by Dr.Ghazala Qadri, Management Trustee of Synetic Business School.Dr. Ghazala Qadri shared the life and time of the martyr and his immense contribution to the freedom struggle.She told how this young man dedicated his youth and sacrificed his life to make his fellow citizens independent.
Later on staff members and students organized a condolence meet. For all those who sacrificed their lives in the Barbaric attack by extremists in Paris. The Chairman of the institute said that every citizen must vow to fight terror which is spreading like cancer in our society. The Government, powerful public sector and private sector organizations, NGOs and Self Help Groups should chanalized the energies of the youth by creating healthy working environment and employment opportunities.

Deepawali Celebrations
Students of Synetic Business School celebrated Deepawali by paying obeisance at Historic Gurudwara, Katana Sahib, today early morning.
Students celebrated the ocassion by lighting candles and taking oath to celebrate craker free and pollution free festival this year. They contributed small amount each which was donated towards charity for underprivileged kids to enable them to celebrate Deepawali.
Later the students presented a cultural event in the college. Mr. Rihan Rai of BCA recited the poem “Shri Ram Chandra Kirpalu Bhajman” composed by sixteenth century saint Tulsi Dasa and Miss Monica of B.Com presented a choreography from the Ramyana. Dr. Ghazala Qadri, Management Trustee of the Institute facilitated the students and the faculty.

Personality Development Programme
To Groom Individual Personality of students of Rural areas, Synetic Business School organized Personality Development Programme for students of Nankana Sahib School Budhewal, Government Senior Secondary School Koom Kalan and Government Senior Secondary School,Madhpur.
Dr.Ghazala Qadri (Management Trustee of Synetic Business School) said that it is earnest endeavor of the institute to equine students with floor level knowledge. The trained faculty of Synetic Business School will continuously help rural students to groom and upgrade their language skills.
Dr.Ghazala said that SBS, as part of its corporate social responsibility will regularly reach out to the schools in rural areas and will trained and guide students to prepare them to meet the aggressive challenges of the modern world.

Bhai Dooj / भाई दूज / Bhau-Beej / Bhai Tika / Bhai Phota is a festival celebrated by Hindus of India and Nepal on the last day of the five-day-long Diwali or Tihar festival. This is the second day of the bright fortnight or Shukla Paksha of the Hindu lunar month of Kartika in Nepali Calendar.

Vishwakarma Day also known as Vishwakarma Jayanti or Vishwakarma Puja is a day of celebration for Vishwakarma, a Hindu god, the divine architect and one of the fourteen precious things born of the Samudra manthan.He constructed the holy city of Dwarka where Krishna ruled, the Maya Sabha of the Pandavas, and was the creator of many fabulous weapons for the gods. He is also called the divine carpenter, is mentioned in the Rig Veda, and is credited with Sthapatya Veda, the science of mechanics and architecture.
