  • Investment Awareness Programme

    Team from ICICI Pru delivered an “Investment Awareness Programme” for the students of Synetic Business School, Dr.Ravi Inderjeet Singh told the students to invest in safe investments where there is liquidity, safety and returns. The basic objective was to create awareness about Penzi schemes wherein the investors lose their money. Students had a healthy discussion on how not to lose money.Vipul, Cluster head,ICICI Pru said that we work to earn money and invest money to work for us.This is possible by investing in suitable options like mutual funds, systematic investment plans etc.

  • NSS PROGRAM

    Giving wings to its NSS Program, NSS volunteers from Synetic Business School today denoted a wheel chair to the Chief Medical Officer, Ludhiana at a function held at Government Civil Hospital. Students were sensitized towards the health issues and health hazards faced by the residents of Ludhiana.Participation in this event motivated the students in making contribution back to the society and made them aware of their roles as healthy individuals in the society. A discussion on communicable diseases with the medical fraternity guided the young minds ways for prevention.

  • Independence Day Celebration and Home Coming 2015

    Synetic Business School celebrated Independence Day and Home Coming 2015 today with full fever and zeal Dr. M.A. Zahir (Chairman of the Institute) welcomed the fresher. Hr said that its a new phase in the lives of the student and requires complete focus and perseverance. Students celebrated Punjabi culture through its folk songs and dances. Administrative Director Dr Ghazala Qadri said that though temptations are many but students have to learn to control and chanelize their energies in creatives and academics. The seniors sponsored gourmet delights and showered rose petals to make their juniors feel special and welcomed.

  • WORKSHOP ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

    Synetic Business School organized a one day personality development programme for its new batch of 2015 of all bachelor courses. The programme was attended by Chairman of the Institute (Dr.M.A. Zahir), all the faculty members and the students of the institute. The programme makes the students familiar with environment and boosted their confidence level. Dr. M.A. Zahir (Chairman of the Institute) motivated the students and makes them aware regarding the inter personal skills required in the organization. Various management games and quizzes were held in which students participated with great ease.

  • Happy Eid al-Fitr

    The Chairman of the Institute Dr.M.A. Zahir greeted  all the faculty members and students on the ocassion of   Eid al-Fitr .

    Assistant Professor(Paramjit Singh) briefed that he religious Eid is a single day during which Muslims are not permitted to fast. The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. The day of Eid, therefore, falls on the first day of the month of Shawwal. This is a day when Muslims around the world show a common goal of unity. The date for the start of any lunar Hijri month varies based on the observation of new moon by local religious authorities, so the exact day of celebration varies by locality. However, in most countries, it is generally celebrated on the same day as Saudi Arabia.

  • Tribute to B.R. Ambedkar (124th birthday)

    Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, chiefly responsible for drafting of The Constitution of India and a champion of human rights was born on the 14th April, 1891. After graduating from Elfinstone College, Bombay in 1912, he joined Columbia University, USA where he was awarded Ph.D. Later he joined the London School of Economics & obtained a degree of D.Sc. ( Economics) & was called to the Bar from Gray’s Inn.

    On his return to India in 1923, he founded ‘Bahishkrit Hitkarini Sabha’ with the main objective of spreading education & improving the economic conditions of the depressed classes. With the slogan of ‘Educate-Agitate-Organize’, the social movement led by Dr. Ambedkar aimed at Annihilation of Caste & the Reconstruction of Indian Society on the basis of equality of human beings.

    In 1927, he led the march at Mahad, Maharashtra to establish the rights of the untouchables to taste water from the Public Chawdar Lake’, traditionally prohibited to them. This marked the beginning of anti-caste & anti-priest movement. The temple entry movement launched by Dr. Ambedkar in 1930 at the Kalaram Temple, Nashik, Maharashtra is another landmark in the struggle for human rights & political justice. Dr. Ambedkar held the view that “Only political power cannot be a panacea for the ills of the depressed classes. Their salvation lies in their social elevation”. As a Member of the Viceroy’s Executive Council from July 1942 he was instrumental in bringing about several legislative measures to protect the rights of labourers & workers.

    Paramjit singh(Assistant Professor) briefed that Baisakhi is a festival celebrated across the northern Indian subcontinent, especially in the Punjab region by the Sikh community. More recently, this festival is also celebrated around the world by Sikh diaspora. For the Sikh community this festival commemorates the establishment of the Khalsa. It is also celebrated byHindus and Buddhists for different reasons including the start of a new year. People in the Punjab Region regard Vaisakhi as a harvest festival.For Hindus, it is the start of the second month of New Year after Chaitr, and is celebrated with requisite bathing, partying, and worshipping. It’s believed that thousands of years ago, Goddess Ganga descended to earth and in her honour, many Hindus gather along the sacred Ganges River for ritual baths. The action is centered in the holy cities along the Ganges in north India, or in Srinagar’s Mughal Gardens, Jammu’s Nagbani Temples–, or anywhere in Tamil Nadu. Hindus plant poles (wrapped in flags of gold-embroidered silk) in front of their homes, and hang pots of brass, copper or silver on top.

    Paramjit Singh(Assistant-Professor) briefed that Good Friday is a religious holiday observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. The holiday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover. It is also known as Holy FridayGreat FridayBlack Friday or Easter Friday, though the latter properly refers to the Friday in Easter week.

    Good Friday is a widely-instituted legal holiday in many national governments around the world, including in most Western countries as well as in 12 U.S. states. Some governments have laws prohibiting certain acts that are seen as contrasting the solemn nature of the day.

  • Trip to Chandigarh

    The Synetic Business School organised one day trip to Chandigarh for the students of the institute .The student were mesmerized to see the beauty of Chandigarh.
