  • SBS Football Tournament

    Synetic Business School organized a football tournament which was held on 23 Feb 2015.The match was played between seniors and juniors.SBS has constructed football ground,as the game is very popular amongst international and indian students.The match won by the juniors.Participants were given certificates of merit and winning trophy.

  • Seminar on “Research Methodology”

    Jaspreet Kaur(Assist.Prof) from Lovely Professional University, visited Synetic Business School, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana. She shared her rich experiences on “Research Methodology” with Indian and International students.She added to the knowledge of students by telling them about various research methods like Qualitative,Quantitative,Correlation/Regression Analysis,Experimental,Meta-Analysis etc.She also briefed about various academic disciplines of dissertation present in research methodology.

    A Brief History


    Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu festival celebrated annually in reverence of the god Shiva. It is the day Shiva was married to the goddess Parvati. The Maha Shivaratri festival, also popularly known as ‘Shivaratri’ (spelt as Sivaratri, Shivaratri, Sivarathri, and Shivarathri) or ‘Great Night of Shiva’, marks the convergence of Shiva and Shakti.

    Mr. Deepak Jain and Mr. Gaurav Chawla from Birla Sunlife , visited Synetic Business School, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana. During this session , they added to the knowledge of college students and staff members by telling them about Investment avenues, Financial Planning and Mutual fund. He shared his rich experiences on “Financial Planning” with Indian and International students.

    Students and Faculty were guided about wealth management instruments, how they can create an impressive corpus to meet the requirements of their future life. The savings must beat inflation. The students and faculty were guided to differentiate between safe and risky investments, goal planning, insurance planning, tax saving schemes and mutual funds.

  • Seminar on “Digital Marketing”

    Synetic Business School organised a Digital Marketing Session for all the students of the Institute.This session delivered by Mr.Tarandeep Singh who is a director of Lookup Digital Pvt Ltd. He shared his rich experiences on “Digital Marketing”. He added that Digital Marketing is one of the emerging and innovative technological trend in the area of marketing.Various Digital Marketing Techniques such as Search Engine Optimisation,Social Media Marketing,Email-Marketing,Web Analytics and Viral Marketing were briefed to the students.

  • Seminar on “Marketing on Entrepreneurship”

    Prof. Parvinder Singh (HOD) from GGNIMT, Ludhiana, visited Synetic Business School, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana. He shared his rich experiences on “Marketing for Entrepreneurship” with Indian and International students. He added to the knowledge of students by telling them about entrepreneurship, network marketing, venture capital, etc. for starting new ventures. He added that Curiosity and Vision are the most important traits of entrepreneurship. He discussed case studies of Tata Nano and Apple. The marketing strategies of Flipkart, Snapdeal and Quicker were also briefed to the students. Chairman of the Institute Dr. M.A Zahir quoted Henry Fayol “there are two types of people one who think they can and the other who thinks they cannot and both are right”.

    A Brief History

    • Republic Day honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India.
    • The Constitution was passed by the Constituent Assembly of India on 26 November 1949 but was adopted on 26 January 1950 with a democratic government system, completing the country’s transition toward becoming an independent
      republic. 26 January was selected for this purpose because it was this day in 1930 when the Declaration of Indian Independence (Purna Swaraj) was proclaimed by the Indian National Congress.

  • Faculty Development Program held on 12 Jan 2015

    Synetic Business School has organized Faculty Development Program on 12 Jan 2015 . Mr Pankaj Bedi(Assistant-Professor) interacted with the faculty members on “Industrial Policy in India “ and Ms.Rashmi Bhatia(Assistant-Professor) interacted with the faculty members on “Shares and Debuntures”.The Chairman of the Institute Dr.M.A. Zahir appreciated the efforts made by the Faculty members of the Institute and he also said that faculty development program helps in experiential learning, provision of feedback, effective peer and colleague relationships and the use of diverse teaching and learning methods.
